Hear the Art! Walking Concert at the MFAH

Journeys

CANTARE Houston returns to the Museum of Fine Arts Houston for our ever-popular "walking concerts." Take a musical stroll through centuries of world class art at this exclusive concert event. The featured exhibit of this tour is "Titian and the Golden Age of Venetian Painting," currently on loan from the National Galleries of Scotland.

Join artistic director Kevin Riehle and the singers of CANTARE as we perform a cappella treasures from the Golden Age - music of Monteverdi, the Gabrielis, Willaert and other composers of the fertile Venetian period. The concert will also tour several other Museum galleries, with historical narration and artistic commentary provided by curator Helga Aurisch.

Admission is limited to 100 people each night. Tickets are $50 each. Come hear the art of the MFAH, like you've never heard it before!
